kadyn

Kadyn is just oodles and oodles of sweetness! We went out on the town together and snapped a few photos for Kara and Robbie. She is so absolutely hilarious. Her smile is infectuous and her personality is priceless! I think she loved the fact that we were out together on a school night. We were busy scheduling play-dates and all sorts of fun stuff. Thanks Kadyn!

ben & desiree

After months of serving in Iraq, Ben was finally granted two weeks to come home and visit his family. Yippeeee! Desiree has kept Ben and Ruby in-touch with one another through the internet using a webcam and also by phone. Thank God for technology, truly! While spending a few days in Concan we headed to the river to shoot some family pics. Whoop!

ruby

Oh, Ruby was the greatest joy ever! She is so completely darling and is such a little sass! I've been patiently waiting to do portraits of her for quite some time. I couldn't ask for a sweeter little neice than her! We spent some time in Concan over the weekend to welcome home her father Ben who is serving in Iraq. We were so happy to see him and we were especially happy to see Desiree and Ruby together with him again! Enjoy!

emmitt and efrin

Little Emmitt wears his cowboy boots with spurs and his cowboy hat everyday. I couldn't help but ask to do pictures of these boys because they always dress their part. Emmitt wouldn't let go of his taco once he had a hold of it, so I worked with the taco in-hand. Efrin was really working the camera and posing for me. Check them out!

kruciaks

Talk about cracking up! We laughed so much on this shoot that it was hard to hold the camera steady to snap shots. The Kruciak's are closer than family in so many ways. We all moved to Uvalde together in the 90's and were inseperable growing up. Amy the "baby" of both families is headed to A&M for her first semester in college this weekend. I really wanted to take some fun photos of all the girl's for their dad's birthday before she left. This was such a special shoot!

kincaid

We were recently in Austin for a wedding.
I snapped this shot right before we went to the Headliners Club for the rehearsal dinner.

ashley

Ashley was such a beautiful bride. I photographed her in Uvalde at her parents' home, which was really cool because it was something a bit more personal. She had her wedding reception in the back yard where we took her portraits. I absolutely loved the intricate detail and silhouette of her gown. She is a sweetheart. She was such a joy to work with!
